Breakfast Casserole

Who I stole the treat idea from: Internet a long time ago...then I forgot it so I adapted it
Prep Time: prep takes about 15min but it cooks for 45min
# of ingredients: 7
Nutrition info: It's breakfast. Do calories count?
Serves: well 7 of us couldn't finish it.

Ingredients:
10 eggs
10 slices of bread
4 cups of shredded cheese
2 cups of milk
1 or 2 things of sausage meat like the picture
A dash of salt
A sprinkle of pepper

Brown the sausage meat and then drain

Scramble them eggs

Slice/rip the bread into little pieces and scatter them evenly across the casserole dish. No need to spray the dish.

Pour milk, and eggs evenly. Then scatter the cheese and meat.

Cook on 350 for around 45 min. I'm bad at the timing but just keep and eye on it.

Don't freak out about the grease in the corners. It's from the sausage. You can soak it up with a paper towel if you're workin on ya fitness. I hope you love it as much as I do. To make for 4, just cut the recipe in half.

you know how much I love my double boil. Melt the morsels and peanut butter until creamy.

Pour all of the Chex into a brownie dish. Drizzle the melted chocolate over that.

Wash hands.
Mix with hands.
Lick hands.

Put all Chex mix into a bag, gradually add in powdered sugar, then shake up the bag until the sugars covers the mix.

Insert into bag with opening at the top. Try not to eat too much before you bring it wherever you made it for.

Cauliflower Mashpot

Who I stole the treat idea from: I really can't remember. It's from my Weight Watchers days.
Prep Time: Eh 30 minutes?
# of ingredients: 5
Nutrition info: Pretty good assuming you don't go crazy w/ butter and salt.

Ingredients:
One head of Cauliflower
2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp butter spread
Garlic & Salt use @ your discretion

Chop up the Cauliflower and then steam it until there's no nutritional value left. You're going to blend it up so don't worry how well you chop it.

Throw everything in the food processor and blend it til its the consistency of mash-potatoes. Then add the garlic and salt to your liking. Don't go crazy cause you can ruin it fast by adding too much.

Voila!
Mmk so this dish is one of those that I think I like b/c it's healthy but to me, it does really taste good. However, I did catch my aunt scrapping it in the trash at one of our family dinners so you be the judge ;)

Idunno Brussel Sprouts

Who I stole the treat idea from: Mom
Prep Time: 20 min max
# of ingredients: 4
Nutrition info: I mean it can't be that bad for you; it's brussel sprouts...

Ingredients:
2 cups of Brussel sprouts
1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes
1/2 cup crumbled feta
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Oil
2 tbsp Parmesan cheese

oopsies, I forgot to put this in the picture

Peel the ugly leaves off the sprouts and steam them. "To steam": put an inch of water in a pot w/ that steaming thing and boil the water for 10ish minutes til they become a rich green.

Once they're done steaming, chop 'em up

Mix everything else in and voila! It really is good.

Enjoy!

Oreo Balls

Who I stole the treat idea from: Megan Kornas
Prep Time: 1 Hour if you're efficient
# of ingredients: 3
Nutrition info: You may as well wipe it on your thighs

I buy generic; no one will ever notice a difference. This treat is so rich that you can buy low fat and whatever w/out being able to tell a difference. You can also buy whatever morsels you want. We're gonna use all of everything.

Crumble up the entire package of “Oreos” by hand. And dump them in food processor.

Add the cream cheese to the top, then blend. It will take a few minutes and you may have to stop and move everything around w/ a spoon.

Don’t stop blending till it’s the consistency of thick hummus. It’s a necessity you eat a spoon full of this. I don't care how many carbs you've already had today.

Make spoonful-ish size balls and then put in the fridge or freezer till they’re firm. You can use the Oreo tray. Don’t worry; you’ll get plenty of other dishes dirty.

The double boil. Fill the pot w/ just enough water to bring to a boil. The boiling water in the pot should not reach the bottom of the glass bowl. It will make the chocolate get hard and burn on the bottom. Once it’s all melted, you can take it off the stove.

Cover the balls with chocolate. Don’t burn your fingers. Lick fingers upon completion.

Ta Daa. Y’all, these taste like sin. Put wax paper on a pan and let them cool in the fridge. I threw a little coconut on the back ones.
Summertime warning: These melt easily in the sun.

Enjoy!

Since life's boring right now...this will be a cooking Blog :)

I have decided to take a different spin on this Blog idea. I’m gonna keep it general. I’ll show y’all step by step photos of how to make some of my fav recipes. I’m a simple girl so that’s the way the recipes will stay. The goal is to get one new treat out a week and I’ll give credit to who I got the idea from. Please give me your feedback and keep in mind I have no idea what I’m doing so if you have tough cooking questions, call your granny. Enjoy!

Am I allowed?

Can I really have one of these if I don't have a husband, kids or a dog :D Right now, I don't really know if I am interesting enough to have a blog but I will definitely try.
